Britain’s No.1 and 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu is set to make her first appearance at the Rothesay Classic at Edgbaston Priory Club.
“The British grass court season is always one my favourite times of the year and it was where I made my Tour debut two summers ago. I’m really excited to be making my debut at the LTA’s Rothesay Classic in Birmingham this year and hearing the support from all the fans who come out to support us in an event that has so much prestige and history.”
The Rothesay Classic, Britain’s biggest women’s tennis event, takes place from 17th to 25th June.
Raducanu will head to the Edgbaston Priory Club as she aims to add her name to the long list of famous champions, including Billie Jean King, Martina Navratilova and Ashleigh Barty, to lift the famous Maud Watson Trophy.
